Canadian Celiac Association
The Canadian Celiac Association is the national organization in Canada and is based in Mississauga (about an hour away from the border from us).
American Celiac Disease Alliance
The American Celiac Disease Alliance was formed on March 10, 2005 in response to a mandate from the NIH symposium in June 2004.  Members of the ACDA had initially come together as the American Celiac Task Force. The bulk of this group's work is in the important area of food labeling.
National Foundation for Celiac Awareness
The National Foundation for Celiac Awareness (NFCA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to finding a cure for Celiac Disease. NFCA, a national organization, is affiliated with the leading researchers in the US who are working toward this goal.  They have a great newsletter with recipes, etc.

The University of Chicago Celiac Disease Center is dedicated to raising diagnosis rates and meeting the critical needs of people affected by celiac disease through education, research and advocacy. The site has much info on testing, diagnosis and understanding the disease.

The Wegmans gluten-free list is an invaluable resource for Celiacs.  It is now on the web.  They also have a list for those with lactose intolerance, as well. Be sure to check the list out often, as product ingrdients do change.

Check out this wonderful new resource for ethnic restaurant dining.
